ANGE POSTECOGLOU has insisted that Celtic midfielder Reo Hatate isn’t going to settle at the level he’s currently at, striving to get better each day in training.

The Japanese midfielder scored another brace against Aberdeen, making it 4 goals in 2 games. Quite impressive form from the midfielder. He’s really taken the manager’s advice to improve in the attacking third and implement it into his game.

Speaking after the match, Postecoglou said he was pleased with the performance from the player, while also noting he had been impressive all season.

While delivering an exciting statement about the player for the future, the boss said: [BBC]

“He was great. He has been all year to be fair.

“He’s another who’s just not going to settle for where he’s at. He wants to be better. He’s constantly looking for ways to improve and for ways to get his game to another level.

“He’s not going to rest until he’s the footballer he wants to be in his mind. He’s one who, every day comes in trying to improve and he’s getting the rewards for his efforts.”

He was the stand out during Celtic’s win on Saturday, and we’ve said that nearly ever match this season.

If he maintains this level of performance he’ll be up for player of the year and have some top, top clubs sniffing around about him.

If Celtic have him in the squad next year, we’ll be very, very lucky.
