ANGE POSTECOGLOU has refused to rule Kyogo out of Celtic’s derby clash in just two weeks time.

As quoted by The Sun, Postecoglou hasn’t ruled out the possibility that the 26-year-old could be back fit for February 2nd. Asked if he could officially rule a Kyogo out, Ange replied:

“Mate, you’re talking about a game that’s four or five away from us.

“Anything past tonight is no real concern to me.”

Postecoglou is no stranger to throwing players straight into the starting lineup when just back from injury, however, I would imagine Furuhashi will be handled with caution.

The striker was carrying an injury when he was subbed off on Boxing Day. With a new striker in the door, Ange may be more inclined to give the forward with six-teen goals to his name a longer rest.

For the best part of the opening half of the season, the Japanese internationalist was our only fit striker, forcing him to play much more than Postecoglou anticipated.

With the club being prepared this January, bringing players into the club early on, the boss can now relax and use the squad depth he has acquired to the player’s benefit.
