ANGE POSTECOGLOU has made it crystal clear that he takes “no interest” in what other manager have to say about him or his team after Robbie Neilson criticised the referee in his side’s 3-1 loss at Parkhead.
The Celtic boss said that he wont be swayed by other managers opinions, as he failed to give a headline to the press in Friday’s pre-match press conference.
As Celtic prepare to face Hearts for the second time in three days, the manager has refused to enter another war of words, shutting down the comments, saying: [Glasgow Live]
“What other managers say or think is of no interest to me. I don’t know why I would take into account another person’s view of what I have seen. It doesn’t register with me and never has.
“Every manager has the right to analyse and summarise a game they want to, I have no issue with that.
“But does that mean I go away and say ‘oh my God, look what the other bloke said or look at what some person said about our game, what the hell am I doing here’?”
Celtic fielded a rotated team on Wednesday, with both full backs getting some rare minutes on the pitch. Reo Hatate also dropped to the bench and was allowed a rest, not that Ange Postecoglou will admit to that.
It’s going to be a completely different match on Saturday, with a thrilling encounter on the cards, for sure.
