DESPITE DROPPING POINTS Ange Postecoglou is relatively positive with his team’s display in the capital.
He has praised the player’s football and reminded the journalists in attendance that Hibs are formidable opposition. CeltsAreHere.com witnessed Postecoglou’s press conference.
The manager believes the only thing missing from Celtic’s performance was a goal.
Ange thought the players were ‘excellent’ today. The one thing missing was a goal.
Difficult to play against a team playing so deep.

The Australian then remarked that the football on display was his style.

The football on display was not how Postecoglou wanted his teams to play. The defence struggled to move the ball up the park, passing it aimlessly side to side, waiting for McGregor to collect it and set up an attack.
When Celtic eventually got into the final third, they were very wasteful with the ball. Furthermore, Celtic’s attackers only registered three shots on target, which has never been the case this season.
Over the past few games, it has become clear that performance levels are dipping. Postecoglou will be reiterating his ‘never stop’ message to his players before heading into Wednesday night’s match against St Mirren.
Ange, mate, you’re talkin Lilian Gish.
