CELTIC travel to Dingwall on Wednesday for their first cup game of the season.

The side has a hectic schedule ahead of them, and rotating the squad might be on Ange’s mind.

The next week is a big one, with the cup tie, derby and the Champions League opener against Real Madrid, the players will feel the mental and physical effects soon.

With Hart picking up the nasty gash, Postecoglou may decide playing him at Dingwall isn’t worth the risk and hand Ben Siegrist his first competitive Celtic start.

The goalkeeper arrived on a free transfer in the summer after his Dundee United contract expired. His ability is known, and he should be able to fill in for Joe Hart against Ross County.

Other fringe players may get the chance to start the match for Ange Postecoglou. I’d expect Ralston to start and a shake-up of the central defence pairing. The manager may even give Bernabei his full debut.

The midfield and forward areas of the pitch are already stacked with quality, and rotating them should be easy enough for the manager. The benefits of having a big squad!
