Celtic will entertain Ross County at Celtic Park in their final match before the World Cup after a gruelling schedule.

9th November 2022; Fir Park, Motherwell, N Lanarkshire, Scotland, Scottish Premier league football, Motherwell versus Celtic: Celtic Manager Angelos Postecoglou pats the Celtic badge as his players leave the pitch after the win

This will be the Hoops 13th and final match in a 43 day period that has seen them continually gets what’s needed to remain top of the table.

Within that period Ange Postecoglou’s side have extended their lead at the top of the table heading into tomorrow’s game with a seven point advantage which could be reduced before kick-off tomorrow with challengers Rangers facing St Mirren in the early match.

Since returning after the last international break, the Hoops domestic form has been perfect having won all eight games they’ve played which has also booked their place in the semi-final of the Viaplay Sports Cup.

Throughout this period there has been much rotation to the team with players getting a chance to get some game time under their belt meaning there is likely to be more changes made for this clash.

Carl Starfelt returned to the starting eleven on Wednesday evening to partner Cameron Carter-Vickers and may well keep his place in the side with Moritz Jenz having played the most outfield minutes for the Hoops so far this season.

The fullbacks have switched regularly and there is potential for Anthony Ralston and Alexandro Bernabei to both start the match.

in midfield Postecoglou will likely stick with Matt O’Riley and Reo Hatate but may again be temped to throw David Turnbull into the team having started last weeks match against Dundee United.

Up top is where the most rotation has been and the manager could in fact change all three players with Daizen Maeda likely to be awarded for his goal in midweek. Giakoumakis may come back into the team and Jota may keep his place.
