Off form Celtic Star Scott Sinclair has been linked with a sensational return to the Premier League this summer with two clubs already eyeing up the attacking midfielder.

The Englishman’s return for Celtic is rather impressive at 42 goals in 95 games but his performances this season have not been to the same standard as his first year.

Bournemouth and Brighton have already scouted the 29-year-old with other clubs keeping tabs on his availability.

It’s thought that Brendan wants to keep the Englishman but Sinclair could be enticed back down south with what would be his last big contract.

Rodgers has reluctantly dropped Sinclair after a string of poor performances and it remains to be seen if he’ll get any meaningful game time before the end of the season.

If the player continues to sit on the bench for Celtic then a move is inevitable.

Celtic could even get what they originally paid for Scotty in any deal.

It seems crazy to be talking about a player of his calibre leaving, but if he’s not enjoying his football and can’t find form then it’s only natural.

Scotty still has two years left on his current deal, so the ball is in Celtic’s court.

  1. I both like, and rate,Sinclair as a player but have suspected for a while now, that he wants a return to England, where he will be closer to his family home and his partners Tv commitments.
His body language does not display the hunger and desire shown in previous seasons, having said that,i hope my observations are way off and Scotty lights up the remaining fixtures with displays we know he is capable of.
