PREMIER SPORTS replied back to former Celtic striker Tony Watt after he echoed the sentiments of many Scottish football fans this summer.
The channel boasted this summer they would be showing Celtic qualifiers like they have done previously. However, this time around they haven’t shown many games at all and the fans who fork out £9.99 a month for the service for that alone will feel like they’ve been mis-sold.
There are two Scottish ties tonight and neither will be on the sports channel. This led to Tony Watt to comment on the situation on social media.
CelticTV have picked up the home leg of the AIK Stockholm game on Thursday evening but the channel replied back to Watt by claiming they’re ‘hopeful’ of having the return leg on the TV if they can get a deal done for the rights.
Hi Tony, we are hopeful of getting the away leg next week.

Celtic have an important doubleheader with the Swedish club over the next seven days. Hopefully, the Premier Sports will let us know sooner rather than later about it’s plans to show the away day.
