CELTIC have been linked in a move that could see Martin Boyle pull on the green and white of Celtic. The winger, who is currently contracted to Hibs, has been a standout in his side this season, scoring the hat trick that sealed Hibs a place in the Premier Sports Cup Final; he later caused Celtic trouble in the final crossing the ball for Paul Hanlon to head in which would see the Easter Road side on top for only a few seconds.

Hibs are set to demand top dollar for the winger’s services, with the Scotsman reporting the Edinburgh club is looking for a fee of £3 million. However, the club could negotiate a better deal with Hibs after reports have emerged suggesting Shaun Maloney is keen to bring Ewan Henderson to his club.

It would be a strange move – new signing Hatate can play on the wing with Jota due to return from injury soon. Karamoko Dembele will rejoin the group this week; however, question marks do lie over his future. Abada is currently on a good run of form with Maeda able to play on the wing also. Bringing in a winger this window doesn’t seem too logical.

  1. 3million even a celtic supporter I would never do business with hibs for refusing to to sell to Celtic_fc_1888 it might not be hibs but chairman at the time with hibs and with sfa showed his hatred for club Celtic_fc_1888

  2. 3 million my arse he’s another kent plays 1 out of 5 good games we dont need him its the defence we need sorted out so i hope CELTIC dont go for boyle honest.

  3. Boyle would be good. Problem is that would be two Aussies, maybe 3 if we sign Mooey as sugggested. Add to that four Japanese players and that is seven players that will be away for Asian qualifiers when we face Sevco in Feb and again in late March.
