CELTIC were absolutely clinical on Saturday afternoon after a very slow start by the away side. Five shots on target and five goals from five different scorers was the story of the day.

Kristoffer Ajer, Leigh Griffiths, James Forrest, Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie got the goals as Celtic ran riot and again laid down another marker. Unlike their first away day last season against Hearts, the bhoys recovered from going down 1-0 and made easy work of the game in the end.

That’s TWELVE goals in two games with only two conceded.

Considering it’s widely accepted Celtic are a long way from the finished article this is a phenomenal start to the SPFL campaign.

With so much talk of the club not being ready to lay down a marker they have done exactly that and more. Plenty in the media thought the club would struggle until they replace players but it hasn’t been the case.

Celtic have lost key personnel that have yet to be properly replaced and yet they’re still running a mock. This time last season Celtic dropped all three points at Tynecastle, today when they went behind they replied instantly and never looked back.

We welcome the chase!
