CELTIC defender Alistair Johnston was in a moon boot and crutches after last week’s Scottish Cup semi-final against The Rangers.

He had picked up what looked like a bad injury, and was hobbling around the park in crutches at full-time.

As the Canadian was photographed with a young fan heading to the game, he didn’t appear to be using crutches or wearing a moon boot.

It’s a promising sign, and hints that his injury may not be as bad as it was initially feared.

Ange Postecoglou did say that there was a chance that AJ would make it back before the end of the season. Hopefully, he does, with the right back being a brilliant addition to the Celtic side, becoming a fan-favourite almost instantly.

Next to him is Carter-Vickers, who’s still in crutches, after going under the knife at the beginning of last week, with his season ending prematurely. He had been playing through the pain to ensure that Celtic were set for a strong end to the season.
