Celtic are set to do battle with their Glasgow rivals on Sunday afternoon at Ibrox. The bhoys in green will be up against a hostile atmosphere as they look to take a huge step towards the league title.
Ange Postecoglou’s first outing at Ibrox ended up in defeat. The home side ran out 1-0 winners against a very different Celtic side to the one turning up in Govan this afternoon.
The defeat in August had around six or seven players who are either gone from the club or won’t be in the Starting XI. Edouard and Christie moved on straight after the defeat and Celtic still hadn’t secured the likes of Jota and CCV who have become instrumental.
We also have a fit Giakoumakis and the likes of Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda and Matt O’Riley now in the mix.
Ahead of the game, the provisional squad has been announced and it gives you a taste of who’s going to be part of the squad on the day.
The provisional squad is subject to change. The starting XI seems pretty settled. The biggest question is what part will Kyogo play in proceedings. It’ll be interesting to see if Chris Jullien makes the bench – the Frenchman has struggled for any sort of game time since returning from injury.
