Celtic’s goalkeeper Vasilas Barkas has been left out of the provisional squad, which will make the trip to Livingston tomorrow afternoon.

As reported by the Daily Record, whilst it wasn’t expected that the Greek keeper would play any part in the game or even the bench, he has now been replaced in the provisional squad by Conor Hazard.

Barkas made the bench for Thursday’s trip to Spain against Real Betis due to the Hoops’ current injury problems, which meant they couldn’t fill up the entire bench on the night.

Now though, he has been replaced by the Northern Irishman who has recently returned from a slight knock and now looks like he could be favoured as the third choice.

After last season and the start of this campaign, no one expected Barkas to have a future with the club, especially since the arrival of Joe Hart.

However, he remained with the club over the summer and failed to secure an exit away.

You would imagine the 27-year old will be considering a move away as soon as possible now, failing to even make the squad in league fixtures such as this one.

Elsewhere, several players could be in line for their debuts with the likes of Liam Scales and Giakoumakis potentially expected to feature.
