When Brendan Rodgers was asked about PSG and the money they have available to them, he spoke about modern football and how even with all the money in the world teams like PSG cannot buy the history of Celtic and the passion of its supporters.
“You can’t buy that. We have to do what we do in our world. We will never be able to do this here.” Rodgers admitted.
“That is why people will think it is wrong in football. It is modern football in every format.
“But Celtic have something a lot of clubs don’t have – a rich history, a support and a fanbase a lot of clubs don’t have.
Celtic go head to head with PSG again this evening where the Hoops could be in for a torrid night if the French side play like they did at Celtic Park.
They are favourites to win the Champions League and it’s easy to why.
