Journalist Roger Hannah has confidently claimed that Kieran Tierney will return to Celtic before the end of the current transfer window.
The 27-year-old left-back, who has been strongly linked with a move back to Paradise, is reportedly in discussions over a pre-contract agreement with the club.
Speaking on Superscoreboard, Hannah expressed his belief that the Scotland international’s return is imminent and praised the club for getting so much for the now ex-Celtic left-back Alexandro Bernabei, who joined Internacional in Brazil this week for
On Bernabie’s deal, Hannah said: “Yes, it would have to be [Bernabei’s sale up there with Matt O’Riley’s]. He was hailed in this country by Gordon Dalziel and no one else, and Celtic have got between four and five million pounds for him.
He then moved on to Kieran Tierney: “It is a fantastic piece of business. And Kieran Tierney will be in the building next. The transfer window goes into the third of February, two weeks tonight?”

When pressed by host Gordon Duncan on his certainty, Hannah doubled down:
“Yeah, I think he’ll be a Celtic player.”
Celtic’s Intentions Clear
Tierney currently has six months remaining in his contract with Arsenal. Which allows the player to talk to clubs about a potential move.
The player’s time at the London club has been plagued by injuries over the last few seasons, but he remains a fan favourite in Glasgow after coming through Celtic’s academy.

With Celtic securing significant funds from Alexandro Bernabei’s sale, the club appears poised to reinvest in a player who would add quality and leadership to Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Fans will be eagerly awaiting further developments, with the transfer window set to close on 3rd February. If Hannah’s confidence proves well-placed, Tierney’s homecoming could provide a massive boost to Celtic’s domestic and European ambitions.
