ALAN BRAZIL has added to the rumours Odsonne Edouard is set to sign a new deal at Celtic by declaring something was in the works between Celtic and their new shirt sponsors.

The bhoys signed a five-year deal with Adidas which was announced the same day as the shutdown came into force.

The deal has hardly been spoken about since the announcement because Scottish football is gripped by what happens next during this unprecedented period.

However, Brazil, sitting at home, social distancing said he had news from Glasgow and he believes a number seven stunt is in the works and appear to centre around Odsonne Edouard.

Eddy has two years left of his Celtic deal after this season but the bhoys will have to lock him down now if they want to keep the striker at least another season and still get a big pay day when he does move on.

The Frenchman is currently the number 22. Could he be the next knee seven?
