SSB Pundit Mark Guidi has set out a scenario in where the Celtic manager, Neil Lennon is allowed to continue beyond this season.

Guidi believes there’s a real possibility of Neil can finish strong in the league and close the gap as much as possible, he will get another bite at the cherry next season.

“I just want to say something out loud that all Celtic fans will think but is there a scenario, I think Celtic have got 10 league games to go this is game number 29 tonight.” Guidi told SSB.

“If Neil Lennon goes unbeaten and say for example that the two games against Rangers, lets say he gets a win and a draw.

“Is there a scenario where Neil Lennon does keep his job next season and then is still the Celtic manager?

“I don’t think we can rule out for a number of reasons I think it’s a possibility that Neil Lennon can keep his job.”

This is a scenario many fans are dreading. Should we meaningfully close the gap before the end of the season it will actually consolidate many peoples opinions that the manager has cost us ten in a row because of an ill-fated jaunt to Dubai during a global pandemic.

Neil Lennon is not the forward thinking manager who can give youth a chance going forward. The manager has blamed his team’s performances on everything from the pandemic to their own attitudes.

Let’s also be clear, the Irishman also exhibited no remorse from what the Dubai trip did to our season.

There should be no question, the Celtic boss has had his time at the club and it should’ve been ended before now but it simply can’t go beyond this season.

  1. No, if Neil can convince the team that’s left, to win all their games. He has proved he can be picked along with all the coaches to want the Celtic job this summer.
If Celtic can win at a avalanche and conceded three goals or less and increase goals for, by 25 – 33. He will prove he still has a golden touch. And no Mr Edd and Turnbull, more goals needed by everyone else.. Or else…….
