Former Celtic striker and Sky Sports pundit, Charlie Nicholas has pinpointed Mohamed Elyounoussi as the man who could be key ahead of tomorrow’s Glasgow Derby cup tie.

As quoted by the Glasgow Times, of course, in true Nicholas style he had some negative points to make, becoming another pundit to misinterpret John Kennedy’s comments about being the best side in the country on our day. However, he does believe Elyounoussi could be the man to hurt this Rangers side tomorrow.

“Rangers are favourites going into the Old Firm clash in the Scottish Cup.

“Celtic put on a very pleasing display at the weekend against Livingston, playing well and scoring lots of goals.

“I don’t agree with John Kennedy’s suggestion that they are suddenly the best team in the country because of that result, but I like the positivity that he is showing.

“The problem for Celtic is that John isn’t sure what his best starting XI is.

“I am a fan of Mohamed Elyounoussi. He is frustrating at times, but he is a good player on his day and can get into areas where he can hurt Rangers.

“John has to go for it – if his team is as bold as some of his comments he has made over the last week then that would please me.”

This season, the Norweigan winger is the only Celtic player to have scored in the Glasgow Derby fixture, grabbing the opening goal at Parkhead in the last game between the two sides which finished 1-1.

He also comes into this one on good form, scoring two top goals against Livingston last weekend.

With the quality that Moi possesses, he is clearly going to be a key player if we are to come away from this game with a win. If he puts in a performance similar to last week, it will go a long way to doing that.
