According to Alan Rough, Celtic’s rivals are just one bad result away from a potential fan implosion.

The pundit reckons The Ibrox club are still smarting over their Hampden humbling and one more defeat at the hands of Celtic could send them hurtling towards an implosion.

Celtic won 2-1 during the League Cup final but the score line could have been more in the end. Celtic and Ange racked up their third trophy in two seasons with another two still on offer this season.

Mick Beale is being praised in the media for attempting to keep up with Celtic, but that narrative is absolutely bogus. Results like the final and another Hoops derby victory would completely see the scales fall from many peoples eyes.

Alan didn’t mince his words on PLZ Soccer.

Celtic take on The Rangers on April 8th at Celtic Park in the SPFL. They also have another meeting at Hampden in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.

Ange Postecoglou is taking nothing for granted and know that a bad game could see them in trouble.

However, they should be confident of keeping their run against the Ibrox club going, but cautious after last season’s semi-final.
