Celtic are a club who seem to have positive relationships with numerous different teams across the globe.
From Athletic Club in Spain to St. Pauli in Germany, the Hoops are on good terms with several clubs and pundit and former footballer Alan Brazil has quoted Wrexham as yet another.
On TalkSport (via Daily Record), he said:
“I read somewhere that Wrexham have a big association with Celtic, believe it or not. I’m not just making it up.
“I’m serious. They were in Seville as well”
Recently, Wrexham have been bought over by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and have enjoyed quite the success since.
The Welsh side need just one win in their final two league games to secure promotion from the National League and as Brazil said, they have a solid relationship with Celtic.
This is not any new information among some die hard Hoops fans, however, who occasionally travel down South to watch some Wrexham games.
Moreover, Wrexham ‘keeper Ben Foster recently recorded a podcast with Joe Hart. This, though, was more likely down to Foster’s media work and his friendship with Hart and not the relationship between Celtic and Wrexham.
Nonetheless, there is a strong connection between the clubs and hopefully it is one that only continues to strengthen as both teams respectively progress.
