CELTIC have their Scottish Cup showdown with Hearts on Sunday and there’s a few areas of the pitch up for grabs. The bhoys could make history by bagging a fourth treble in a row at Hampden, seven months after the game was scheduled to go ahead.

The team have won their last two games and that’s been down to Neil Lennon freshening up the team. David Turnbull, Ismaila Soro and to a lesser extent, Conor Hazard have made a big difference to results.

Former Celtic striker Frank McAvennie has told the Glasgow Times he believes another change should be made ahead of the cup final and it’s a big one.

Frank wants to see Odsonne Edouard dropped to allow Leigh Griffiths to come back in.

Eddy hasn’t been near his best this season and we’ve all been waiting for the striker to click but McAvennie is of the opinion, Leigh can give us the edge on the day.

He also ranks our strikers and puts Albian Ajeti at the bottom of the pile.

“I’d play Griffiths. With Griffiths, Lenny keeps saying that he needs to get fit. If that’s the case then someone has to get him fit and surely that’s the manager’s job or, if it’s not him, then the coaches. But I think he’s the best finisher at the club.

“Edouard’s a better player, but Griffiths has the edge when it comes to taking chances. I’d then put Patryk Klimala ahead of Albian Ajeti.”
