Celtic are set for a big week, with Hearts visiting Glasgow, the Champions League kicking off, and the League Cup scheduled for next eight days.
To top things off for Celtic fans, there’s good news coming out of Lennoxtown. Key players Alistair Johnston and Cameron Carter-Vickers are back in training, with Greg Taylor and James Forrest, who both pulled out of the Scotland squad, being put through their paces.
Alistair Johnston, who suffered a hamstring issue during Canada’s recent outing against the USA, was seen back on the training grounds this morning. Despite concerns that he might miss important upcoming matches, his quick return to training is a positive sign for Celtic fans.
Equally uplifting is the sight of Cameron Carter-Vickers without the protective boot he donned after Celtic’s emphatic 3-0 derby win over Rangers. This was precautionary, but nevertheless, it’s good to see the American in training.
Adding to the good news, Greg Taylor and James Forrest, who pulled out of Scotland’s recent international fixtures, were also involved in today’s training session.
