CELTIC youngster Kundai Benyu made his debut for Oldham at the weekend and the Latics fans have been having their say.
The tricky midfielder played 74 minutes before being subbed, a decent amount of time considering he’s had no first team football since Celtic hammered Motherwell earlier this season.
In a game where Oldham came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Rotherham at home, there seems to be a consensus that Benyu looks the part.
Some awful spells of football from both today. Fair result tho. Some positives to take. Always happy to see Wilson in DF. Covered LB no prob. Dummigan much better. Fane workhorse again. Benyu looked useful. Pringle a mixed bag. Edmundson looks far more confident. Useful 1pt #OAFC

Decent half from Latics, bar a lull after their goal reasonably comfortable. Liking the look of Benyu, quick, tricky and forward-thinking. Pringle less involved but still looks a good acquisition, Wilson and Fane also deserving of a mention. #oafc

Probably a fair result 1-1 as we didn’t challenge their keeper enough. Liked the look of Benyu & Pringle as they were trying to link up well #OAFC

The biggest difference here, like most League One games, is confidence. We need to try and get it down and get Pringle and Benyu involved more. #oafc
