It has been over two weeks since reports came in that Lewis Morgan had accepted a three-year deal with Inter Miami and would be moving to the States this window.

After SunSport reported this deal it has been almost radio silence from both clubs over any deal.

Lewis hasn’t been part of any Celtic squad in 2020 and has been keeping a low profile.

However, with the window set to close in less than 48 hours, the deal hasn’t been concluded. But does it have to be?

The US transfer window will remain open and the clubs have to register their roster by February 28th so there’s plenty of time for the club to make the signing official.

From our point of view, it has to be paperwork that is holding up the deal with the Scottish winger needing a working Visa to begin his career with Inter Miami.

You would expect Celtic make some sort of announcement just before or after the window about the whereabouts of the player.
