Since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou, the rise and improvements within Anthony Ralston have been incredible to see.

The 22-year old full-back has become a key player in the side this campaign and has continued to contribute, particularly going forward, picking up another assist for Kyogo Furuhashi’s first-half strike.

Last night, Ralston was hit with an injury blow, being forced off due to a knock to his ankle, shortly after playing his part in the opening and only goal of the game.

With his performances in the side, this will come as a frustration to Postecoglou. But it also offers him the opportunity to see one of his main summer signings in full flow.

With Ralston being undroppable, Josip Juranovic has found himself out in the left-back position. Now, with the injury to Ralston, the Croatian internationalist will be able to switch to his more natural position, at right-back in the side.

Celtic fans have been keen to see Juranovic play on his natural side after some solid performances at left-back, which have also seen him add three goals to his tally, all coming from the penalty spot.

It will definitely be interesting to see how Juranovic fairs in a more natural position on the park and what he can offer in comparison to Ralston down that side.
