It is likely that Ange Postecoglou won’t make too many changes if any to the team that defeated Motherwell 2-1 at the weekend.

It was confirmed by the Celtic manager yesterday that Cameron Carter-Vickers was not ready for this game with the USA international still being out of action.

He joins Carl Starfelt, Aaron Mooy and Liel Abada out of the current group which will not be available for selection.

The match is at the earlier time of 17.45 and is live on BT Sport 4 for Hoops fans who did not make the journey over to Germany.

This is a hugely important game for Celtic having only managed one point in the tournament so far after the 1-1 draw in Warsaw against Shakhtar Donestk.

It has been all change at RB Leipzig in recent weeks with Marco Rose coming in to replace Domenico Tedesco who was dismissed after a 4-1 drubbing to Shakhtar on matchday one.

These back-to-back matches against the Bundesliga side will go a long way in determining the final outcome of the group with Celtic knowing that they need to turn performances into points quickly.

The defence picks itself in this match with Ange Postecoglou having no other options at centre back so he will start with a pairing of Moritz Jenz and Stephen Welsh.

Both players have came in for some slack following the 2-0 defeat at St Mirren meaning they must step up tonight and have a strong performance.

There won’t be any change to the fullback positions or the midfield as they pretty much pick themselves for this game.

The manager threw a curve ball in the last group stage match by giving Sead Haksabanovic his debut but he is likely to remain with Jota, Kyogo and Maeda in the forward positions.
