Celtic look to have suffered a covid outbreak ahead of the winter break. It’s the only logical explanation for the team that’s been put out this afternoon.

Barkas comes in for his first league start of the season, the captain is out of the squad altogether and the B team fill most of our bench. It’s a sorry state of affairs .

Fans have been left stunned by the starting XI.

The only massive positive is Kyogo starting the match.

This is as makeshift as it gets and shows the pitfalls of playing football during this period of the pandemic.

If Celtic get through the tie with a win today – they’ll be doing well.

The Hoops can regroup after today’s game with a winter break set to come into play.

St Johnstone will play their low block and hope this Celtic side struggle to break them down.

Any dropped points today would be a massive blow to any chances we have of winning the league. It’s Hail Mary time for Celtic.

  1. I remember a whole lot of Celtic fans bragging about not getting vaccinated, not getting checked at games, not wearing a mask.
Now everyone acts surprised that the most contagious variant of virus is now at work and hurting the team.
Hope we can pull off a win today but the bottom line is too many people ignored the pandemic.

  2. The vaccinated morons are causing the trouble.

    Suckers.

“According to figures released by the UK government via the Office for National Statistics, people who are triple vaxxed are 4.5 times more likely to test positive for Omicron than those who are unvaccinated.

The numbers also illustrate how the double-vaccinated are 2.3 times more likely to be infected with Omicron than those who haven’t taken any jabs.”
