YOKOHAMA MARINO’s fans clapped Ange Postecoglou off the pitch on Wednesday, despite them crashing to a defeat in the Emperor’s cup to relative minnows Honda FC.
The love for Ange and what he done for the club is still shining through, even as he leaves them to join Celtic.
Upon the announcement this morning, Marino fans have been taking to social media to thank the boss for what he gave them during his spell in charge.
They could not be more appreciative.
Thank you boss. The title you brought with the players was awesome.
Thank you for great football.
Best wishes for success at Celtic.
And see you again in Yokohama. pic.twitter.com/aF2ZHmalsR— ステッラ (@stella_mister_p) June 10, 2021

Ange will be on a 12 month rolling contract like many of his predecessors and WILL be on the Lennoxtown training pitch before they bhoys head to Wales for their pre season camp.
The manager is coming in with a lot on his shoulders but he seems excited about the challenge ahead.
It’s up to the manager to show what he can do and bring the best out of what he has at the moment.
