A lot of CELTIC FANS have been highly critical of Carl Starfelt since joining the club, but it would appear the tide is starting to turn.

There has been a lot of confirmation bias when it comes to the Swede’s performance as of late. He has been solid yet people are still saying Carl hasn’t been good enough. There are fans who make up their mind up on a player and that’s it.

However, there are many who will freely admit they got it wrong and others who have backed the player to come good now seeing that happen.

It takes time to settle in a new country, in a new team that’s also building a new side. Ange has recognised he’s asking his defender’s to do more than just defend and there’s a lot of responsibility on his centre-backs shoulders.

It stands to reason there was always going to be a period of transition. The two centre-backs are making it difficult for Christopher Jullien right now and where he’ll fit in once back in the squad.

  1. St. Johnstone had 21% of the ball during the entire 90 minutes.

They strung 132 completed passes together. This is hardly a yardstick to be measured against.

We’ll see who’s dropped when Julien gets back, the scribbling on this website is sometimes hilarious.
