The referee for Sunday’s crucial clash away to Aberdeen at Pittodrie has been announced as Willie Collum.

Alongside him, he will be joined by Andrew Dallas as fourth official and both David Doig, and Gavin Duncan who will be linesman.

So far this season, Collum has refereed one Celtic fixture and that was the opening day 5-1 victory over Hamilton Accies.

His last Aberdeen vs Celtic fixture came back on Boxing Day of 2018 as Celtic went on to win 4-3. In the game, the referee gave away two questionable penalties against Emilio Izaguirre and Mikel Lustig but it was Odsonne Edouard who ultimately had the final say on the day, scoring an absolutely brilliant chip and setting up Scott Sinclair for the 4th and final goal of the day to secure the victory.

At the end of the day, no matter who the referee is, we should be looking to do the job and take the three points back to Glasgow.
