The referee for Celtic’s 2019/20 Scottish Cup final against Hearts has been revealed as John Beaton.

As reported by Glasgow Live, the man in the middle who will be refereeing this Hampden showpiece game will be joined by Frank Connor and Graeme Leslie who will be running the lines. They will also be joined by fourth official Alan Muir, plus Kevin Clancy and Nick Walsh as additional referees behind the goal.

So far this season, Beaton has refereed the Hoops twice, the first coming in the 2-1 win away to St Mirren and the latest being Neil Lennon sides 2-0 loss against Rangers at Celtic Park.

As current holders of the trophy, Celtic will be looking to make it four Scottish Cup wins in a row, with a Quadtreble Treble also on the line a week on Sunday.

This final has been overshadowed recently with Celtic’s recent form and also demonstrations against manager, Neil Lennon and the board. Although we may not feel it right now, hopefully, we can get another trophy in the bag and create history.
