The officiating team for Celtic’s upcoming Scottish Cup fourth-round tie against Auchinleck Talbot has been confirmed, with VAR in use for the match at Rugby Park.
Ross Hardie will take charge of the fixture, with Calum Spence and Alastair Taylor as his assistants. VAR duties will be handled by Chris Graham, with Andrew Dallas acting as assistant VAR, the SFA has confirmed.
The fixture was moved from Beechwood Park to Rugby Park due to capacity and safety considerations, allowing for a larger crowd and full VAR implementation. Clubs are not permitted to opt out of VAR use if the game is not broadcast live on television.
The match will be broadcast on Premier Sports on Sunday evening.
Celtic, under interim manager Martin O’Neill, are looking to bounce back in the competition after falling to Aberdeen in last year’s final.
O’Neill remains unbeaten in domestic matches across both of his interim spells in charge. Since returning for a second time following Wilfried Nancy’s sacking, he has overseen two wins from two, with six points, five goals scored and two clean sheets.
Celtic will be strong favourites against the West of Scotland League side but will be aiming to treat the tie with the seriousness it demands as they look to continue their push for silverware.
