Celtic fans have been waiting to hear or see what the club will do with regards to the future of manager Neil Lennon after a season of discontent.

In public, we’re not any further forward but according to Celtic Trust president, David Low, the Celtic manager’s exit is currently being choreographed with the club putting things in place for his departure.

Low was a key figure during the heavy days of the 90s takeover as the fans and a group of investors looked to wrestle the club away from the Kelly’s.

David’s love for the club is obvious and the work he’s done over the years for fans has been outstanding.

He would not make comments on social media if there wasn’t something behind them.

It could be a major week for Celtic with regards to our future. However, we could be in-store for an interim boss; the club like John Kennedy and might hand him the keys to the castle until they get a full time man in place this summer.

You could argue not getting someone in as soon as possible shows a lack of initiative and ambition which could hinder our European hopes.

David does great work with the Celtic Trust who are urging fans to subscribe. The more subscribers they have, the more shares they can purchase in the club and ultimately have a bigger say.

  1. It’ll be John Kennedy as interim manager…then full-time next season. This is the Lawwell way. He won’t employ someone who will stand up to him as Rodgers did, so unless he’s removed or Desmond over-rules him, stand by for biscuit tin v2.0.

  2. Be very careful what you wish for Seppington, its mainly P.L. that has took the club forward in recent years that is until or indeed if he agreed with D.D. to trust Lennon at the helm. Since stupidly handing him the task he has cost the club big time in every department. There is no gain financially in domestic trophies. Being chucked out of Europe prematurely twice this season. £35m wasted on incoming transfers. The team selections are all over the place and players have all lost confidence under him. He has devalued the worth of players who are up for transfer and has always been scared to give youth a chance. So in my opinion Lennon is the biggest mistake the club has probably ever made as it could take years to recover from his blundering and reputation of the club.
