Kawasaki Frontale have been quick to set up commemorative Reo Hatate merchandise after his switch to Celtic.

Considering we’re yet to see the player pose with a Celtic jersey at Lennoxtown, Reo’s former club have wasted no time in cashing in on the transfer and offering supporters the chance at some special edition gear.

Japanese based journalist Dan Orlowitz confirmed the club had released the merch that fans can pre-order. The pricing is a little steep!

It’s common place to see this in Japan when a player makes a move from the J-League to Europe or for a club legend.

It will be a foreign concept to many Celtic fans who tend to act like a jilted or scorned ex when a player decides to leave Parkhead.

Could you imagine Celtic trying to punt Ryan Christie t-shirts at the start of the season after his move to Bournemouth.

Saying that, Moussa Dembele gear might do well now.

Reo has joined Kyogo, Guchi and Maeda on Ange’s Celtic/J-league revolution, we hope he can make a big impression in the months to come.
