This news is sure to please Celtic fans, especially after several key stars such as Liel Abada, Daizen Maeda, Kyogo and Callum McGregor signed new deals, securing their future at the club.

“I have had the best welcome ever since I joined the club and I want to thank all our fans for the great support they continue to give to us all.”

Celtic will be looking to tie Matt O’Riley down to a new deal next, with reports suggesting that discussions are well underway.
