Reo Hatate signed for Celtic on New Years Eve alongside Daizen Maeda and Yosuke Ideguchi. However, while the other two have already been paraded at Celtic’s Lennoxtown training facility, Reo has not joined them as of yet.

It’s been confirmed on Tuesday evening the player is on his way. Reo starting his journey to Celtic Park on Monday.

There’s real excitement surrounding the Japanese trio and how they can fit into Ange’s side for the second half of the season.

The Celtic manager knows all about their abilities and what they can bring to the table. It’s whether they can do it in the Scottish game in a different environment. Kyogo has found the transition easy and he’ll be on hand to help his compatriots settle in over the next period of time.

It will be good for all four Japanese bhoys to have the company of one another. The language barrier can always be an issue in the beginning and at least they’ll all have teammates who they can talk with.

We can’t wait to see Reo in his Celtic shirt.
