REO HATATE has hit the ground running at Celtic and scored in two of the toughest games of our season thus far.

The midfielder opened his goal-scoring account in spectacular style against Hearts at Tynecastle. He would follow that feat up a week later by smashing two goals in against The Rangers, both outstanding efforts.

In his short time at Celtic, Reo has made his mark and certainly shown what he’s capable of from outside the area. ALL three of the Japanese midfielder’s goals have come from outside the area. So we’ve still to see how clinical he is from close range, I’ve got a feeling we won’t be waiting too long!

Seven starts, three goals, two assists and seven victories is not a bad way to begin your career at any club!

Reo has a 76% pass success rate for the Hoops and has won 47% of his tackles to date. The metrics are looking good and remember he’s only finished 90 minutes once for the Hoops so far.

We all thought Kyogo was a shoo-in for player of the season. Reo has a real shot at taking the crown away from him if he continues. Reo Hatate.
