REO HATATE will be competing in the group stages of a European competition for the first time in his career.

Having played in the Conference League, the midfielder will be taking a couple of steps up, as will most of his teammates.

The January signing is aiming high in Europe’s elite competition, hoping to achieve some top results against the greatest sides the continent has to offer.

“As for the future, now that we’ve earned a spot in the Champions League, we need to achieve results.” [From the Athlete]

It’ll be a surreal atmosphere in Parkhead, with the crowd likely to drain out the traditional anthem.

It’s set to be a roller coaster of a journey. Ange Postecoglou will not change his team. The manager will be setting his team up in the same fashion he has done since he arrived at Celtic.

Despite many believing Celtic will take a battering in Europe, I’m a bit more optimistic. Instead of being there for the taking, Celtic will go toe-to-toe with great sides, aiming to test themselves and the opposition’s defence.
