Celtic’s main focus is bringing in a left-sided player to cover and also be competition for Greg Taylor.

While they have a priority position to fill there are one or two areas Neil Lennon would like to strengthen if he he gets the chance.

According to football insider the club are chasing a deal for Osayi-Samuel from QPR.

The Nigerian plays on the right hand side of a front three but can also play on the left. WPR are desperate to hold onto the player but Celtic are believed to be monitoring his situation and want to pick him up on a pre-contract in January.

The 22-year old would have been out of contract this summer but QPR had triggered a clause in his contract which added another year to Osayi-Samuel’s deal.

This interest has come out the blue and we’re currently asking around to see how much interest there is from Celtic.

Osayi-Samuel has made 93 appearances for his club and is a big part of their plans.
