Israeli winger Liel Abada landed in London late on Tuesday night and will be boarding a connecting flight to Glasgow on Wednesday morning, One.co is reporting. It is stated the 19-year-old flew from France after not travelling with the rest of his squad to a pre-season training camp.

After his medical, all things going well, Abada will join the first team’s training session. The hoops take on Preston North End this weekend, but before Saturday Celtic face Bristol City in the final game of the Wales training camp.

Versatile in any forward position, Leil Abada is expecting to put pen to paper on a four-year deal after transferring to Paradise for four million euros, just over three million pounds.

Some questions are being asked among the Celtic support about why the club is looking to bring in another right-winger, with James Forrest, Karamoko Dembele and Marian Shevd all fighting for a place in the team. It is hoped that this season will be hot prospect Karamoko Dembele’s breakthrough year, but with an additional winger being added to the squad this could be another setback in the academy graduate’s career.
