Transfer journalist Ekrem Konur has claimed Brighton have made a whopping £20m bid for the services of Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.
As far as we can see, Ekrem is the only man claiming this transfer bid at the moment – so we’re rightfully sceptical, but if Brighton are keen to blow other clubs out of the water – this would be the way to do it.

Edouard state of play.
The striker wants to leave; everybody knows that. We do get the sense with Eddy and his reps that it’s not just about the money and a potential wage packet but the player’s progression.
Brighton could offer Edouard a lot of financial reward but can they offer him the platform to better himself?
Celtic will rightfully take an offer from the highest bidder but would it suit the Frenchman?
Time will tell if there’s actually that kind of money on the table.
Eddy is on the final year of his contract, like Ajer, and if Celtic can get £15-£20m for their striker, it could go a long way in helping fund this rebuild.
From someone who is a fan of Edouard’s, I hope he finds a club above Brighton.
Take it
Cheerio Eddy, take your bad attitude ass to f@#£
