CELTIC are waiting on quite a few players to return from injury who have been on the injured list for a long period of time.

One man who’s only been out for a few weeks is new bhoy Josip Juranovic.

Celtic fans have yet to see the best of Josip as Ange tries to pull his side together into a cohesive unit. The injury was sustained when the defender was asked to play left back in the absence of Greg Taylor.

Ange delivered the prognosis and told Celtic fans before the international break it would just be a couple of weeks out for the Croatian.

Football Scotland have reported they have been told Josip will likely not make it for the tie against Motherwell on Saturday but could be in contention for the game against Ferencvaros on Tuesday.

As we saw with the Kyogo injury – things can change if the player responds well to treatment and can get back on the training ground a bit quicker. Kyogo’s natural fitness played a huge part in his early return before the international break but can Josip get things going in time for Saturday? We wouldn’t bank on it but you never know.
