Palma made an impact in his first season for Celtic, signing from Greek club Aris Thessaloniki F.C in 2023 for a fee of £3.5 million.

The winger went on to score 10 goals in all competitions for the club during the 2023/2024 season, including making an impact from the bench, scoring a goal in a 2-1 victory against Motherwell.

Celtic fans believed they had found their new starting right winger, replacing former fan favourites Jota and Liel Abada, who had left Celtic earlier in the year for substantial transfer fees.

However, Palma has only made 7 appearances in the league this season and has struggled to make an impact from the bench. He’s started one match this season in a 2-0 victory against Dundee but was subbed off after 57 minutes.

The 24-year-old will look to revive his career in Spain, playing against opposition such as Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, having hit a stumbling block at Celtic this season.
