Mail Sport chief Stephen McGowan has revealed Josip Juranovic is in talks to move to Italy.
McGowan writes Juranovic turned down a new Celtic contract before a Christmas leaving the club looking to move him on in January.
The journalist reports the right-back is in talks with Serie A side Monza, and will only command a £7m fee if he decides to sign for the Italian club.
Alistair Johnston has already been signed as Josip’s replacement and fans are generally alright with the defender moving on, but hopefully the fee is wide of the mark. For context, Monza are 15th in Serie A with a stadium capacity of just over 15k. It would represent a very bizarre move.
