Kieran Tierney has reportedly knocked back interest from a host of English Premier League clubs in favour of a return to Celtic.
A sensational move back to Glasgow’s east end is well on the cards for the 27-year-old, with the only potential stumbling block being his wages.
Celtic will bank on Tierney’s love for the club, and it looks like it is paying off because, according to a report from TBR Football, the defender has rejected three top-flight English clubs to return to his boyhood heroes.

Leicester City, along with London-based duo West Ham United and Brentford, were said to have enquired about the Scotland international, although he expressed no interest.
Instead, Tierney wants to make an emotional return to Glasgow and work under his previous boss, Brendan Rodgers.
It shows the left-back’s inherent commitment to Celtic that he is willing to knock back EPL interest to sign for the Bhoys: you’d struggle to find any other players who would do so.
While there are some rightful concerns about his injury history, if the Hoops can get a fit and firing Tierney for even just 20 games a season, and find a reliable backup, they will be in good stead.
He is an almighty upgrade on Greg Taylor, who, now, in a surprising u-turn, looks set to stay with the Scottish Premiership champions until at least the end of the season, despite interest from Dinamo Zagreb.
Halcyon Kt at his best (and with a tooth missing) is how I will remember him.
Kt may wish to be booted aboot ipox and plastic bouncy castle parks, bald and sandy filled, wet grass and get stretchered off them!!! for a astronomical drop in coin.
But what will his wife spend???? He’s got a life to live, investment to make, without much coin.
I doubt it. But don’t really need lifting. But it Kt arrives he will get to see the treatment room under the main stand.
And the inside of the doctors black attaché bag!!!!
Maybe he can do something for Celtic on his days off.
Cfc plc, have plenty of cash to spend, time to back up the stock is now, until February windae end.
So stop dreaming.
Get it done.
Such a shame his career has been ravaged by niggling injury. And even after a few trips to the surgeons table, they still persist.
Hate to say, a bad investment if he comes back. It would be nice.
Football is never nice. It’s a tits out industry, ravaged by tears and pain mostly.
