Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has been named as a possible target for English Premier League giants Liverpool.

As reported by the Liverpool Echo, with Jurgen Klopp’s side looking to add to their attacking options going into next season, the Frenchman has been suggested as a player who they could pursue this summer.

At one stage, it looked like the 24-year old frontman would have been making his way to Leicester City to link up with former manager Brendan Rodgers.

However, the Foxes opted against the move and instead went for RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka.

This has opened the door to several EPL sides who remain interested, and with Liverpool currently on the lookout for more attacking options, they could look to step in and make a move happen.

With just 12 months remaining on his deal at the club, this summer will likely be the club’s last chance to gain some money for Edouard.

So, if a team like Liverpool were to come calling, they have the funds to allow Celtic to collect a nice profit for the Frenchman whilst also benefitting by getting an impressive young talent to add to their squad.
