Supposed Celtic target and Peterborough United winger Siriki Dembele reportedly favours a move to Parkhead with the Hoops.

According to the Peterborough Telegraph, the 24-year old has been heavily linked with a move away from the recently promoted side, and now it looks as though Celtic would be in the driving seat to make a move.

Dembele is a very familiar name to Celtic fans, with Karamoko currently looking to make his breakthrough into the first team. Siriki is the brother of the Hoops winger, and that could perhaps play a factor in his move here.

Of course, the club currently has further links to Peterborough, with current first-team coach Gavin Strachan being a former assistant manager at London Road.

Sides such as Glasgow rivals Rangers and Fulham are also reportedly keeping tabs on the winger.

The report also states that if Dembele doesn’t secure a move away from Posh this summer, he will sign a new deal ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

So, it looks as though it is Celtic’s move to make with this one at this stage.
