Bahlul Mustafazada has opened the door to a Celtic move by insisting he would ‘jump’ at the chance to sign for Celtic this summer.
It was reported yesterday Celtic were looking into the possibility of bringing the soon to be out of contract star into the club this summer for a trial. If it’s up to the player, he would make the move.
“Of course I would want to play for a club like Celtic.” Mustafazada told Record Sport.
“If a contract proposal happened then I would certainly jump at it.
“‘I’m out of contract at the end of the season, but at the moment I am fighting to try and ensure Gabala get into Europe.”
Celtic are set to lose two key defenders this summer with Filip Benkovic returning to Leicester while Dedryck Boyata leaves on a free.
Kristoffer Ajer and Jozo Simunovic look to be creating a strong partnership as of late but the fragility of Jozo and niggling injuries means the bhoys need reinforcements going forward.
With a month of the season to go Bahlul Mustafazada wants to do the best with his current side before thinking about a potential move to the Scottish Champions.
With the player only being 22 and on a free, he would certainly be the type of player Celtic would look to bring in and improve.
