Once again, Ange Postecoglou has shown how respected he is by his former club Yokohama F.Marinos after it looks as if he’s had a hand in recommending the next manager to take over at the J-league club.

The Asian Game is reporting that Kevin Muscat will take charge following Ange’s move to the Scottish Premiership.

Muscat will be officially appointed as Yokohama F.Marinos manager during the break for this years Olympics due to be held in Japan.

Both men also worked together down under at South Melbourne and Melbourne Victory before Muscat replaced Postecoglou as manager.

This also confirms that Muscat will not join the Celtic coaching staff as was previously rumoured. Fans can now breathe a sigh of relief after previously being up in arms over the potential of a former rival joining Celtic.

Although, fans are still none the wiser as to who will be joining Ange at Celtic next season. It is thought that both Gavin Strachan and John Kennedy will remain in their positions.
