The 25-year-old winger currently plays for Gorica in Croatia’s top flight but the player is reportedly open to a move.
Celtic are in desperate need of a left sided winger after the departure of Moi Elyounoussi at the end of last season. To add insult to injury, Mikey Johnston got injured again during his first start with Celtic in over 6 months.
Mikey looks less and less reliable in the position as his injury problems continue to blight his progress.
So far, we’ve not seen much movement on Lovric but that could all be set to change.
Sports editor of Index.hr Marko Jerleković is claiming Gorica are close to signing Nigerian winger Benito from Dynamo Kiev – if a deal goes through for the left sided winger – it would free up Lovric to move.

Celtic need players in now but they also need the right players in the door. If Lovrić is a player the club are serious about, things could start to happen.
The player followed Celtic’s official account back last month fuelling speculation there was definite interest there – will the club now follow through.
